Overview
Unique to SAFe®, the Release Train Engineer (RTE) is part of the trio of leaders that includes product managers and system architects. This plays a critical role in leading Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to deliver value. This means that the RTE must create the right environment, have the right conversations, facilitate the right meetings, and gather the right people to make decisions based on the right data.
During this three-day course, attendees will gain an in-depth understanding of the role and responsibilities of an RTE in the SAFe® enterprise.
Through experiential learning, attendees will examine the RTE role in a Lean-Agile transformation. They will learn how to facilitate ART processes and execution, coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in new processes and mindsets. They will also learn how to prepare, plan and execute a Program Increment (PI) planning event, the primarily enabler of alignment throughout all levels of a SAFe® organization.

This course prepares the attendees for SAFe® Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification exam, and the attendees must attend both days of the course in order to be eligible for the exam.

Certification Validity: The certification is valid for 1 year and need to be renewed after 1 year from from the date the certification is earned. The renewal fee is $195
Certification Prerequisite
Following prerequisites are recommended;
- Participated in atleast one ART or PI
- Hold atleast one current SAFe® certification
